Hello, I am Paula, the founder of Women Who Believe. I have been in several internet groups since getting online 8 years ago and upon creating WWB I made a few decisions on how this group would be organized.
Although each group has rules, committees and activities for their members to join I strongly believe that if you join a group, you join it with the intent on being an active member. Groups like this were not designed and created for adding pretty logos to your site. They are not a collection but rather a place of solitude away from everyday life.
I made myself a promise when I chose to open the WWB group. I promised that I would stay an active member in my own group. I would treat everyone fairly. I would not judge people based on color, creed, religion or sexual preference. I am not a judge and jury, a am a mere woman with a dream to have a place on the net that women from all walks of life can feel *at home* in.
My promise to myself is my promise to my members. I strive to make sure all the members are informed of everything that goes on within the WWB. I try to make sure that no one is attacked within the group and I will not gossip about anyone who has left the group. I do my best to protect the members privacy. I do my best to make each member feel as tho she is a part of a group and not just a numbered member.
I will not tolerate any prejudice, racism or hatred within this group. I promise a safe place for all women to come to and feel as though they are no different then the next, because when push comes to shove, there is no difference between us, we are all women. We are Women Who Believe.
